On Friday 30th November 2012, at the Royal college of Anaesthetists, there was a study day on Assisted Dying, with talks from top legal Professors and Hospital Consultants with a particular interest in this area. Topics covered will included the UK law on assisted dying from a legal perspective, how it affects clinical practice, how the law here differs from Europe, a view from the public perspective and a debate discussing whether UK law in relation to assisted dying is indefensible.
